This is a giclée print of my original artwork The Canterbury Goblin, graphite on paper.

You should know a little more about the Canterbury Goblin, before you purchase this print.

The Canterbury Goblin is a ground-dwelling goblin, originally from Kent, U.K.. It is believed that a few of these goblins crossed the ocean in 1620, on board of the Mayflower. Upon their arrival in Massachusetts, some of them scattered throughout the country, while some stayed with the pilgrims, pestering them and causing all sorts of shenanigans—spoiling water wells, destroying crops, stealing chickens and bleaching and braiding little girls' hair while they slept.

Nowadays the Canterbury Goblin can be found throughout New England, but it is believed that a vast community lives in Vermont’s Green Mountains. A few have been spotted in New York’s Central Park, where they delight in kicking loud and noisy children in their butts, swiftly disappearing before being spotted by concerned parents.

You might encounter the Canterbury Goblin (commonly known as garden goblin) in your backyard, in the spring and summer, especially if you have a vegetable garden. The Canterbury Goblin loves to steal vegetables. Nobody knows what they do with them because it is a well known fact that these goblins are carnivorous and absolutely despise vegetables.
Some of these goblins are particularly fond of beer (hence the vast Vermont community).

The Canterbury Goblin is naughty but not dangerous to humans. Keep an eye on your chickens, though, as they are not safe when these goblins are around.

It is believed that displaying pictures of these goblins in your house will bring fortune and luck to you. These goblins have immense egos and they are very much flattered to know that their portraits are decorating humans houses.

This print is 12 x 8 inches, printed on excellent watercolor paper.
